Nintendo Themed Costumes wearable in Tekken Tag Tournament 2


Namco Bandai revealed today that Tekken Tag Tournament on the Wii U would contain additional content specific to Nintendo’s console. There will be Nintendo themed power ups such as the Giant Mushroom and Poison Mushrooms available while fighting to make things a bit more interesting. Also, you’ll be able to dress your favourite Tekken character as your favourite Nintendo character. That is correct! You will have costumes available from famous Nintendo franchises allowing you wear Links famous green tunic or the majestic Princess Peach’s pink dress. Toriko: Gourmet Monsters Coming To 3DS


Japanese magazine Jump has revealed that Toriko: Gourmet Monsters, a title from Namco Bandai is set to hit the 3DS. Toriko: Gourmet Monsters is described as a monster raising game and is set to release this winter. No further information is available at this time.

Tekken Tag Tournament Scores Almost Perfect in Famitsu

Japanese publication, Famitsu has granted Tekken Tag Tournament for PS3/Xbox360 a nearly perfect score. The game is due to come out later this month for PS3 and Xbox360 and will be released on Nintendo’s Wii U this holiday season. This game is packed full of content and new modes and will feature Wii U specific functionality when released for Nintendo’s sixth coming system later this year.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Box Art Revealed


Here’s some new Wii U box art to to get the Tekken fans excited for the Wii U release of the upcoming Fighter. The cover depicts the main protagonist of the Tekken series, Jin Kazama, along with his trainer/grandfather, Heihachi Mishmima. The game is due out for Xbox and PS3 this month while the Wii U version will hit this holiday season.

MadCatz Gets rights to Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Arcade FightStick


Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. announced that it has an agreement with NamcoBandai for the rights to produce a new FightStick specifically for the release of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. This agreement will allow MadCatz to develop and distribute their FightStick for release on XBox 360, PS3 and Wii U in conjunction with the release of Tekken Tag Tournament for each system.

Smash Bros. Regulars to get New Move Sets


Last week, the creator of Super Smash Bros., Masahiro Sakurai, announced some interesting news at the CEDEC developer conference regarding the upcoming Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. According to Sakurai, for characters returning from previous games in the series, there will be lots of new and exciting moves. He had also mentioned earlier that there may be new characters in the mix as well.

Sakurai let’s Slip There will be New Characters in Next Smash Bros.


Previously, Smash Bros. creator, Masahiro Sakurai, stated he wouldn’t want to add more characters to the roster for the next game in the series.

During a recent developers conference in Japan, he delivered a keynote address that was mainly a compilation of his history in the video game industry. During his speech, Sakurai let slip that “It’s fun making new skills for new characters.” Is this a confirmation that there will be new characters available in the next Smash Bros. instalment?
