Nintendo has been hyping their exclusive shooter Splatoon for quite some time now. Splatoon is a paint based shooter where players must take over their opponents by filling the level with their teams paint color. Today we have a highly detailed look at the US box art for Splatoon. Nintendo took to Twitter this morning to invite those who would like to take a minute out of Valentines Day tomorrow to view a new Nintendo Direct for America and Europe. Surprisingly Nintendo of Europe’s Direct will be focused solely on 3DS Whether this is due to struggling Wii U sales in Europe has yet to be confirmed. Nintendo stated this Nintendo Direct will be focused on Wii U and 3DS games at 6AM PST.
Following the announcement of the European Nintendo Direct Happening today, Nintendo of America announced they would also be holding a Nintendo Direct today. Now, it seems Japan is getting in on the action as well. In addition to this, Wii U and 3DS received firmware updates. There may be some interesting news coming out of this as the last time all three territories held a presentation simultaneously was on September 13.

Nintendo Europe has announced a new Nintendo Direct for December 5. This presentation will focus on existing and upcoming games for the 3DS and Wii U. You can watch the presentation on the Nintendo Direct Website and will be hosted by hosted by Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata.
Nintendo of Japan is planning yet another Nintendo Direct. This time it will be completely focused on the upcoming Animal Crossing: Jump Out, which is also known as Animal Crossing 3DS. The newest addition to the series is debuting on November 8th in Japan and during the first half of 2013 in North America. Japan’s next Nintendo Direct will air on October 5th at 6am CDT. It looks like Sept. 13 will hold more than just Nintendo’s North American press conference. Europe and and Australia will both be holding separate Nintendo Directs to speak about the forthcoming Wii U. Europe will have their Nintendo Direct at 3pm (UK time), while Australia will have there’s at midnight AEST. Each of these announcements will be regarding the final build of the Wii U and likely release and pricing details for each area.
Nintendo has announced, via Twitter, they will be airing a new Nintendo Direct at 4 a.m. PST on August 29th, Wednesday. Nintendo’s President, Satoru Iwata, has pointed out this Nintendo Direct will focus on their existing platforms, 3DS and Wii, and Wii U information will be absent from the broadcast.
