Nintendo has recently dropped the price of the Wii to $129.99. The package is set to include a copy of Wii Sports and Wii Sports resort on one disc along with the black Wii. The new bundle pack is set to release on October 28, 2012 just in time for the Holiday season shopping. Nintendo believes that the Wii still has room to sell along side the Wii U which is set to launch on November 18, 2012. Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing has recently come out to explain the reason behind the price drop:
“Nearly six years after it launched, people are still attracted to the pure, inclusive fun of the Wii console. A new suggested retail price and the inclusion of two great games make it an easy choice for families looking for a great value this holiday season.”
If by some chance their are some people out there in this world that haven’t already got their hands on the Wii and don’t want to purchase a Wii U which will play Wii games then this might be the perfect bundle pack to get you started. Wii Sports and Wii Sports resort feature a large amount of activities from Golf, Baseball, Bowling, Tennis and more.
